Fishing caricature, Robert Seymour, 1835 / 1878.

There may be, but I should think they were werry small, cause there vos no vater in this here pond afore that there rain yesterday", caricature by Robert Seymour, published in Seymour's Humorous Sketches by Henry Bohn, 1878. First published as a lithograph in about 1836, this is a later steel engraved version, with recent hand colour. Size about 12 x 16 cms plus good margins. Ref D710
