"Mother says fishes comes from hard roes, so I chucked in the roe of a red herring last week but I doesn't catch any fish yet" caricature by Robert Seymour, published in Seymour's Humorous Sketches by Henry Bohn, 1878. First published as a lithograph in about 1836, this is a later steel engraved edition. Good condition. Size about 11.5 x 17 cms, plus margins. Ref G8855
