"The Old Noblesse in the Conciergerie" (a scene from the French Revolution where royalist aristocrats were held in a prison and allowed to congregate together during the day), engraved by C.W.Sharpe after a picture by W.H.Fisk, published in The Art Journal, 1879. Steel engraved antique print, good condition. Size 27 x 17 cms including title, plus margins. Ref H943
