Kent, Upnor Castle, 1780

"Upnor Castle" engraved by R.Livesay after a drawing by Hogarth, published about 1780. Sepia etching, trimmed to about 5mm of image edge and laid down many years ago on medium weight paper, with a pen border added. The figures shown include Hogarth marked with the letter "D". Slight foxing and age browning, backing paper frayed around the edges. Size 33 x 25 cms. Ref D5892
