"Map of The County of Gloucester Inscribed by Permission to the Rt. Hon. Lord Sherborne, 1826" by J.Tovey, engraved by T.Radclyffe and published in Griffith's History of Cheltenham, Cheltenham,1826. Copper engraved map with recent hand colouring. The old horse-drawn plate-way (precursor of the railways) can be seen running between Gloucester and Cheltenham. One (flattened) horizontal fold as published. Good condition with good margins. Size 29 x 32 cms. Ref E681
