"A View of the Ruins of Persepolis as Taken from the Plain ..." pair of copper engraved prints published in An Universal History .., 1744. Several points of interest are noted, such as Beasts at the Grand Staircase, Tombs of the Persian Kings, Pillars & Pillasters. Small embossed (blind) library stamp to each print, just outside the plate mark. Each has two vertical folds as published. Size of each 36.5 x 22 cms plus margins with full plate marks.
