"Part of Christs Hospital taken from the Stewards Office 1765" copper plate etching originally published by N.Smith for the Society of Antiquaries in 1793, this example being bound into Antiquities of London and it's Environs ..., about 1801. Taken from a worn old plate. Library blind-stamp in margins (not affecting the image), otherwise good condition with full plate mark. Size 15.5 x 14 cms including title, plus good margins.
