Bristol, Newgate Prison, Keepers Compartment, 1825

"Back premises of the Keepers Compartment &c. in Newgate Prison, now destroy'd (In the second story died Savage the Poet)" engraved by J.Skelton. Copper engraved antique print published in Skelton's Etchings of the Antiquities of Bristol, about 1825. Very good condition with full plate mark. Size 15.5 x 23.5 cms including title, plus good margins. Ref G2871
