"Destroying the Chrysalids and reeling the Cocoons" engraved by J.Davies after a picture by Thomas Allom, published in The Chinese Empire ..., about 1858. Steel engraved antique print with recent hand colouring. Slight age browning and staining, closed tear in right margin (no loss). Size 19 x 15.5 cms including title, plus good margins.
