"Burgh, or Cnobersburg Castle, Suffolk" (Roman 'Saxon Shore' fort, designed to hold cavalry as a defence against Saxon raids) copper engraved print and plan published in Francis Grose's Antiquities of England and Wales, 1786. Descriptive text beneath and on the verso of the print. Both in good condition with plate mark and good margins. Image size 16 x 11.5 cms, image and text size about 16 x 24 cms, plus margins. Plan size 16 x 22.5 cms plus margins. Ref G8873
