"Europe" classic decorative Tallis/Rapkin map published in Tallis's The Illustrated Atlas ..., about 1853. Steel engraved map with original outline hand colour. The decorative vignettes show Seal Hunting, Lapland Travellers, Russian Travellers, an Arab and Camel, a Slave Market and some sailing ships. Centrefold as published with slight creasing down the fold, otherwise good condition with good margins. Size 32 x 26 cms including decorative border, plus margins. Ref G8084
