London, Sir John Crosby's Monument, 1801

"Sir John Crosby's Monument, in the Church of St.Helen, Bishopsgate Street" (Crosby was Sheriff of London in 1470) copper plate etching originally published by N.Smith for the Society of Antiquaries in 1794, this example being bound into Antiquities of London and it's Environs ..., about 1801. Slight foxing, otherwise good condition with full plate mark. Size 16.5 x 22cms including title and description, plus good margins. Ref G1648
