"Council of Horses" etched by Samuel Howitt, published in A New Work of Animals, principally designed from The Fables of Aesop, Gay and Phaedrus, 1810. Copper plate etching, slight soiling in the margins, otherwise good condition with full plate mark. Supplied with a printout of the fable illustrated. Size 18 x 14 cms including title, plus margins.
