"Kent" by Thomas Moule, published in Barclay's Universal English Dictionary, about 1850. Decorative steel engraved antique map with recent hand colour. The vignette shows Ramsgate Harbour. Right margin close trimmed and a couple of old pencil annotations in the margins, otherwise good condition (these maps were very often tightly trimmed by the publishers). Size 25 x 20 cms plus margins. Ref H8446
