"Egypt and Arabia Petraea" drawn and engraved by J.Rapkin, published about 1850. Classic steel engraved Tallis map with original outline hand colour. The vignettes show Mosque of Sultan Hassan, Alexandria, Karnac ruins and the Sphinx. Centre-fold as published, strong crease across centrefold which would show when framed. Size 25.5 x 34.5 cms.
