"Glocester-Shire" engraved by Van Langeren and published in Matthew Simmons' A Direction for the English Traveller, about 1643. Small copper engraved 'thumbnail' map with old hand colouring, set below a distance table for the county. Letterpress text on the reverse. A scarce map. Slight age browning, otherwise good condition. Size 11 x 11 cms (map and table), plus good margins. Ref F5832
