Cockney sporting caricature, Shooting, Robert Seymour, 1835 / 1878

"How dare you carry a loaded gun poinnted at peoples viscera you booby? I don't know wat you mean by wiserar - I never shoot a wisera" caricature by Robert Seymour, published in Seymour's Humorous Sketches by Henry Bohn, 1878. First published as a lithograph in about 1836, this is a later steel engraved version. Size about 11.5 x 17 cms, plus margins. Ref F6429
