Charta of King John from 1215, facsimile published 1819

"Articuli Magne Carte Johannis" (Magna Carta of King John, 1215. British Museum example.) The charta is titled 'Ista sunt Capitula q Barones petunt & dis Rex concedit'. Copper engraved facsimilie published by The Commission on Public Records, 1803. Supplied complete with latin transcription. Slight foxing and age browning around the edges, both sheets have several folds as published. Size 27 x 68 cms plus margins. Ref F6945
