"Japan & Corea" (Korea) classic decorative Tallis/Rapkin map published in Tallis's The Illustrated Atlas ..., about 1853. Steel engraved map with original outline hand colour, the more desirable version without a centrefold and with good margins. The decorative vignettes include Yedo, a State Barge and Koreans. Good condition. Size 33.5 x 25.5 cms including decorative border, plus margins. Ref G1994
