"Solomon built the House of the Lord on the Mount where the Lord appeared to David his Father ..." engraved by J.Mynde(?), published in Stackhouse's History of the Bible, 1744. Large copper engraving, the main view showing Solomon's Temple, others showing Moses, Tabernacle, The Ark, Table of Shewbread and Altar of Incense. Several flattened folds, very slight age browning and soiling. Size 45 x 35 cms including title, good margins with partial plate mark (narrow lower margin.) Ref G5818
