"William Despreaux before the Sultan Saladin to whom he was carried Prisoner instead of the King of England" (in about 1191) engraved by Delroche after a picture by Wale, published in Russel's New and Authentic History of England ..., 1781. Copper engraved print, slight age browning. Size 15.5 x 29 cms including title, plus margins with full plate mark. Ref H2461
