"The Aijaburun or Scared Promontory, Probably the Parthenium of Strabo. Taken from a Ruined Edifice near the Monastery of St. George in the Heracleatic Chersonesus" engraved by Joseph Skelton after a picture by E.D.Clarke, published in Clarke's Travels in Various Countries ..., 1810. Copper engraving with recent hand colour, good condition. Size 20.5 x 16.5 cms including title, plus margins. Ref H5303
