"Edward the Martyr stabb'd by order of his Step Mother, Elfrida" (Corfe castle in Dorsetshire, on 18th March 978) engraved by Grignion after a picture by Wale, published in The Modern Universal British Traveller, about 1779. Copper engraved print, good condition with full plate mark. Size 16.5 x 25.5 cms to plate mark, plus margins. Ref I0765
