Berkshire, Bray, 1805. "Bray, Berks" engraved by J.Greig after a drawing by Powell, published in Pennant's London Illustrated ..., 1805 (dated 1805). Copper engraved antique print. One patched worm hole in image area and some unpatched in margins, otherwise good condition. Size 19 x 15.5 cms including title, plus margins. Ref H2228

"View of the Castle & Palace of Windsor in Berkshire" and "View of the College of Eaton in Buckinghamshire" (now in Berkshire) published in Picturesque Views of the Antiquities of England & Wales, 1786. Two copper engraved prints on one sheet, good condition. Size 17 x 29 cms including title, plus margins. Ref H2218

Produced to illustrate the boundaries as established by the Boundaries Act passed 11th July 1832. Some offsetting from text that was once opposite the map and old library stamp upper left. Size 18 x 21 cms including text, plus margins. Ref H995

The vignettes show Virginia Water, Windsor Castle, view of Windsor and the Town Hall Abingdon. Close trimmed to upper margin, with slight loss (these maps were very often tightly trimmed by the publishers). Size 25.5 x 20 cms plus margins. Ref G9652

Detailed steel engraved map with original hand colouring. Very slight foxing and very slight creasing, otherwise good condition.
