Hereford Cathedral, John Coney etching, 1829. "Hereford Cathedral, North East View" drawn and etched by John Coney, published in Views of English Abbeys and Cathedrals, 1829. Large copper plate etching, with centrefold as published and strong plate mark. Tear to upper part of fold, no loss and not into image area. NOTE the print has light pencil sketches of the small corner pinnacles on the tower - added in the 19th century. Size 44 x 35.5 cms to plate mark, plus margins. Ref H5534
