Cheltenham plan, 1826. [ Plan of Cheltenham ] engraved by T.Radclyffe after a map by J.Tovey, published in Griffith's History of Cheltenham, 1826. Copper engraved map with recent hand colour, good condition with wide margins. An interesting plan, showing the newly built Promenade, leading up to Sherborne Spa, where the Queen's Hotel is now. Also marked is a large crescent, 'Cambray Parade', which was not built. Size 21 x 22 cms including titles, plus good margins. Ref F4888
