Herefordshire, by Morden, 1695. "Herefordshire" by Robert Morden, published in Camden's Britannia, 1695. Copper engraved antique map with recent hand colour, centre fold as published. On thin paper as is usual for these maps, some creasing and small (2 cms) closed tear into lower edge on fold, without loss. Size 41.5 x 36 cms. Ref F4479
Jersey, John Seller / Grose, 1777. "Jersey" by John Seller. Originally engraved and published in the late 17th century, this example was published in Grose's The Antiquities of England and Wales, 1777. Copper engraved map with original hand colouring. Set on a page of descriptive text on the island. Tightly trimmed to left margin, almost to image edge. Size 14.5 x 12 cms plus margins. Ref F4474
