Westmoreland, John Speed, 1627. "The Countie Westmorland and Kendale the Chief Towne De-scribed With the Armes of such Nobles as have bene Earles of either of them" by John Speed. With the imprint of George Humble, published in Speed's The Theatre of the Empire of Great Britaine, 1627 (first edition was 1611.) English text on the reverse. Copper engraved antique map with recent hand colour. Centrefold as published. Both upper corners damaged with some loss in the margins, repaired tear to upper left corner (no loss), otherwise good condition with full plate mark. Size 50 x 38 cms plus margins. Ref H9151
