Cheshire, Hyde Hall, 1795. " View of Hyde Hall " (near Stockport) engraved by Sparrow after a picture by J.Swertner, published Aiken's 40 Miles Round Manchester, 1795. Copper engraved print with recent hand colour. Good condition with platemark and wide margins. Size 23 x 16.5 cms. Ref E833
Cheltenham, Old Well Walk, Hulley / Merke aquatint, 1815. "Well Walk" (Cheltenham) etched by H.Merke after a picture by Thomas Hulley, published in 1813. Aquatint with original hand colour augmented by recent hand colour (due to fading). Good condition. Size 26.5 x 19.5 cms. (The spot where the artist took this picture from would now be at the Ladies College end of Royal Well. Well Walk itself was built over by the college later in the 19th century and the River Chelt as seen in this view now runs underground. The Promenade now runs through the field immediately beyond the bridge to the left.) Ref E764

Cheltenham, Pittville plan, 1826. "To Joseph Pitt Esq, MP. Plan of the Pump Room, Pittville Spa ... on his Estate near Cheltenham ..." engraved by T.Radclyffe, published in Griffith's History of Cheltenham, 1826. Copper engraved map with recent hand colour. An interesting map showing the intended layout of Pittville Park. I believe the money ran out before many of the houses could be built. Very good condition. Size 17 x 24 cms. Ref E692

The old horse-drawn plate-way (precursor of the railways) can be seen running between Gloucester and Cheltenham. One (flattened) horizontal fold as published. Good condition with good margins.
