London, Duke's Theatre, Dorset Gardens, 1814. "The Duke's Theatre, Dorset Gardens" anonymous engraver, published in The Gentleman's Magazine, London, 1814. Text below the print gives a brief history of the Theatre, from it's construction by Sir Christopher Wren, to it's demolition in 1709. Copper engraved print with recent hand colour. Two folds as published, one quite noticeable, also small area of thin paper upper right (see image.) Size 20.5 x 18.5 cms including text. Ref D864

Margins slightly trimmed to left and right with a small amount of loss (these maps were often tightly trimmed by the publisher) and a slightly weak impression. Size 26.5 x 20 cms. Ref C9694

Very fine steel engraved print with recent hand colour, very good condition. Size 25.5 x 20 cms plus wide margins with a strong plate mark. Ref 9615

Originally drawn, engraved and published by John Seller around 1695, this re-issue by Grose has Seller's name removed. Printed on the top half of a page, the rest of which (and the reverse) carries a historical description of the county in letterpress. Copper engraved map with original outline hand colour, very good condition with plate mark and wide margins. Size 14.5 x 12 cms. Ref C8735
