Sussex, Moule map, 1850. "Sussex" by Thomas Moule, published in Barclay's Universal English Dictionary, about 1850. Decorative steel engraved antique map with recent hand colour. The vignettes show Brighton, Chichester Cathedral and Arundel Castle. Close trimmed to upper margin and old pencil writing along upper margin, otherwise good condition (these maps were very often tightly trimmed by the publishers). Size 26 x 20.5 cms plus margins.
