Herman Hubert (Dutch), large portrait, 1769. "Herman Hubert, geboren te Noorhoorn in het Graafschap Benthem den 18 April 1729 ..." engraved by J.Houbraken, dated 1769. Large copper engraved print published about 1775, on laid paper with indistinct watermark. Slight surface soiling, strong plate mark and good margins. Size 25.5 x 36 cms including title, plus margins. Ref F2110
Thomas Sackville, 1st Earl of Dorset &c., portrait engraved by Vertue, 1730. "Thomas Sackvill earl of Dorset, Baron of Buckhurst, Lord High Treasurer of England, Chancellor of the University of Oxford & Knight of the Most Noble Order of the Garter" engraved by G. Vertue after an original portrait. Large copper engraved print originally published about 1730, this example is on early wove paper and probably dates from about 1800. Slight surface soiling, strong plate mark and good margins. Size 23 x 37 cms including title, plus margins. Ref F2109
