Sweden, proposed rail and steamer routes, 1850s. "Great North Europe Communications" ("Stora Nord Europeiska Forbindelselinier") anonymous engraver/publisher, published in the 1850s. This map is based on southern Sweden and shows existing and proposed 'communication', comprised of new rail and steamer routes. Existing lines are shown in black, proposed routes in red. Steel engraved map with original hand colour. Centrefold as published, close trimming to upper and lower margins, othersise good condition. A very rare map. Size 56 x 38 cms plus good margins with partial plate mark. Ref G9590
