"Ethnographische karte von Europa ...". Large map on 4 sheets designed to fit together, published in Dr. Heinrich Berghaus' Physikalischer Atlas, Gotha, 1855 (maps dated 1845 & 1852.) Set of fine steel engraved maps with original hand colour, coded to the key upper left. Slight age browning around edges and very slight soiling, otherwise good condition with partial plate marks and good margins. All have a centre-fold as published. Size 42 x 34 cms plus margins, making a complete map of about 84 x 68 cms. Ref E3818
