"Cabool, The Punjab and Beloochistan" classic decorative Tallis/Rapkin map published in Tallis's The Illustrated Atlas ..., about 1853. Steel engraved map with original outline hand colour, the more desirable version without a centrefold and with good margins. The decorative vignettes include Sultan Mahmoud's Minars and Fortress at Ghuznee, Lahore view and Boats on the Indus. Lower margin close cropped (no loss), otherwise good condition. Size 34 x 25.5 cms including decorative border, plus margins. Ref G1982
