"Central America" classic decorative Tallis/Rapkin map published in Tallis's The Illustrated Atlas ..., about 1853. Steel engraved map with original outline hand colour, the more desirable version without a centrefold and with good margins. The decorative vignettes include Belize, Volcano of Isalco and Great Square of the Antigua in Guatemala. Good condition. Size 33 x 26 cms including decorative border, plus margins. Ref G2011
