"Japan & Corea" (Korea) classic decorative Tallis/Rapkin map published in The Chinese Empire Illustrated ..., about 1858. Steel engraved map with original outline hand colour, with centrefold and good margins. The decorative vignettes include Yedo, a State Barge and Koreans. Slight age browning, otherwise very good condition. Size 33.5 x 25.5 cms including decorative border, plus margins. Ref G5926
