Africa, large folding map by Stanford, 1894.

"Africa, by J.Arrowsmith" linen backed folding map published by Edward Stanford, 26 & 27, Cockspur Street, Charing Cross, S.W., about 1893 acording to pen inscription inside front cover. Chromolithographic map disected into 20 sections, folding neatly into red cloth-backed card covers. Very detailed, with colour coding to the various 'posessions' and regions. Very good condition internally, red covers also in good condition. Size (open) 55 x 68 cms, when folded 11.5 x 18 cms. Ref G5929
