"The City of CHA-CHO, the Metropolis of TONQUEEN" (Hanoi in Vietnam) anonymous engraver. Copper engraved print published in Awnsham Churchill's A collection of voyages and travels..., about 1732. The small key centre left states - 1) The King's Arsenal. 2) Sandy Bay with ye representation of ye Thecky-daw. 3) King's Elephants Stables. 4) The designed English Factory. 5) The Dutch Factory. Two vertical folds as published, damp stain upper right, otherwise very good condition with plate mark and good margins. Supplied with one page of descriptive text. Very scarce. Size 38.5 x 29 cms, plus good margins. Ref H7731
