"Ireland" classic decorative Tallis/Rapkin map published in Tallis's The Illustrated Atlas ..., about 1853. Steel engraved map with original outline hand colour, the more desirable version without a centrefold and with good margins. The decorative vignettes show St.Patrick's in Dublin, Limerick Castle, Holy Well, Ross Castle on Lake of Killarney and a Round Tower in Wicklow. Good condition. Size 24 x 35 cms including decorative border, plus good margins. Ref G1952
