"Turkey in Asia" classic decorative Tallis/Rapkin map published in Tallis's The Illustrated Atlas ..., about 1853. Steel engraved map with original outline hand colour, the more desirable version without a centrefold and with good margins. The decorative vignettes include Castle of Europe and Asia and Jerusalem. Close cropped to upper margin (no loss), otherwise good condition. Size 32.5 x 26.5 cms including decorative border, plus margins. Ref G1985
