"Northern Africa" classic decorative Tallis/Rapkin map published in Tallis's The Illustrated Atlas ..., about 1853. Steel engraved map with original outline hand colour, the more desirable version without a centrefold and with good margins. The decorative vignettes include Mogador, Algiers, Tunis, Constantine and Marocco. Good condition. Size 33 x 25.5 cms including decorative border, plus margins. Ref G2001
