An interesting print with representatives of the races of man, plus various achievements, both architectural and technological - note the train, steamship and balloon. Also, shown in the sky is what appears to be a flying machine or aeroplane. Published in Payne's Universum ..., 1845. Steel engraved antique print with recent hand colour, slight soiling in the margins, otherwise good condition. Overall size 16 x 24 cms, plus margins. Ref H6971
