"Chart of the Baltic Compiled from British & Continental Admiralty Charts" tinted lithographic map by Schenck & McFarlane, published by A & C Black in relation to the fleet sent to the Baltic during the Crimea War. Was bound into a volume of Black's General Atlas, 1856. Inset details showing Cronstadt, St.Petersburg, Sveaborg, Riga etc. Slight foxing and creasing down the centrefold. Size 59 x 42 cms plus margins. Ref F6304

Copper engraved map with a small amount of original hand colouring. Shows the pre-Roman tribal areas and Roman Britain. Good condition on thick paper with a good plate mark and wide margins. [ Map of the Joinville et d'Is-en-Bassigny area in the Département Haute-Marne, in the region Champagne-Ardenne ] engraved after Tardieu and published in Atlas universel de géographie ..., about 1800. Detailed copper engraved map with a small amount of original hand colouring. Includes the cities of Langres and Neufchatel. Good condition on thick paper with a good plate mark and wide margins. Size 43 x 32.5 cms plus margins. Ref F6266

Includes Sligo, Balcarra and Tobercorry. On the verso is the next part of this route, with Ballaghy, Swineford Foxford and Ballylaghan. Copper engraved map. Size 12 x 21.5 cms plus good margins.
