Northern Scotland, Robert Morden, 1722. "A New Map of the North Part of Scotland" drawn and engraved by Andrew Johnston, published in Camden's Britannia, 1722. Inset map of the Shetlands. Copper engraved antique map with recent hand colour, centre fold as published. Good condition with plate mark and good margins. Size 45.5 x 36 cms plus margins. Ref F1307
Northern Europe, 1790. "The Northern States of Europe including Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Russia. Prussia & Holland" engraved by C. Paas and published in a gazetteer about 1790. Copper engraved map with recent hand colouring. Several (flattened) folds as published, slight creasing, several closed tears into map area, suitable for decorative purposes. Size 28.5 x 21 cms. Mediterranean, Map of the Travels of the Apostles etc. 1759. "An Accurate Map of the Travels of the Apostles with St. Paul's Voyage to Rome" anonymous engraver, copper engraved map with recent hand colouring. Good condition with margins of about 1 cm or more. Size 35.5 x 21 cms. Ref F1151

Copper engraved plan with centrefold as published. Size 16.5 x 21 cms including title, plus margins with full plate mark. Ref F1147
Greece, Plan of the Battle of Plataea, 1793. "Essay on the Battle of Plataea" engraved by T.Cook and published in The Travels of Anacharsis the Younger, 1793 (dated 1784). This was the last battle of the Persian Wars in southern Greece, taking place in 479 BC. Copper engraved map with centrefold as published, slight browning near the fold. Size 34.5 x 22 cms including title, plus margins with full plate mark. Ref F1145
