German map, 1819. "Germany" engraved by Sidney Hall, published by A.Constable in A New General Atlas ..., 1819. Copper engraved map with recent hand colour, very narrow upper margin, otherwise good condition. Size 25 x 19.5 cms plus margins. Ref H9306

British Isles map, 1807. "Britain, or the United Kingdom of England, Scotland & Ireland" engraved by B.Smith, published in Wilkinson's General Atlas, 1808 (dated 1807). Copper engraved map with full original hand colouring, full plate mark and good margins. Small tear lower left just to plate mark (not affecting the map). Size 22 x 29 cms, plus margins. Ref H9299
Turkey in Europe, Ethnographic map, Berghaus, 1855. "Ethnographische Karte des Osmanischen Reiches eurpaischen Theils and von Griechenland " (Ethnographic map of Turkey Europe with Greece) published in Dr. Heinrich Berghaus' Physikalischer Atlas, Gotha, 1855 (map dated 1847.) Fine steel engraved map with original hand colour, coded to the key upper right. Slight age browning around edges, centrefold as published, otherwise good condition with plate mark and good margins. Size 36.5 x 33 cms. Ref H9297

Good condition, but two later maps pasted on reverse, not affecting the main map. Good margins. Size 28.5 x 23 cms, plus margins. Ref H9219

Very slight creasing, otherwise good condition with good margins. Size 30 x 43 cms, plus margins. Scarce. Ref H9162
England & Wales, with railways, c1860. "England & Wales" by Francis Young, engraved by Lewis Becker's omnigraph and lithographed by Vincent Brooks, published by S O Beeton, about 1860. Highlights the railway system. On thin paper, two horizontal folds as published, lacking upper and right margins. Size 21 x 25.5 cms, plus margins. Ref H9104
