Copper engraved map with recent hand colour. Several (flattened) folds as published, narrow margins as with most of these maps. Size 33.5 x 22 cms plus narrow margins. Ref E7369
Europe at the start of the 6th century, 1846. "Europa im anfang des VI: jahrhunderts" published in Spruner's Historisch-Geographischer hand-Atlas, 1846. Finely detailed steel engraved map with original hand colouring. Some age browning and brittle around the edges, chipped with some loss to upper margin. Size 40 x 32 cms. Ref E7367
The Ancient World, Spruner's Historical Atlas, 1846. "Die Welt der Alten" published in Spruner's Historisch-Geographischer hand-Atlas, 1846. Finely detailed steel engraved map with original hand colouring. Two lower maps show the world according to Ptolomy, Eratosthenes and Strabo. Some age browning and very brittle around the edges, chipped with some loss to upper margin. Size 38.5 x 34 cms. Ref E7366
Gloucestershire, Church of St John the Baptist at Chipping Sodbury, painting, 1900. "S. John the Baptist Church, Chipping Sodbury" pencil and wash painting, indistinct initials, dated 1900. On card which has some age browning and slight foxing. Size 25 x 31 cms plus good margins. Ref E7364
Gloucester, St. Michaels Church at the Cross, 1850. "St. Michaels Church, Gloucester" tinted lithograph by E.H.Buckler, published by W.Henley, bookseller in Gloucester, about 1850. Very scarce view showing the church and tower at the cross. The church has now gone but St.Michaels tower remains. Faults - slight creasing upper left and lower right, noticeable soiling and a few edge tears (without loss.) Size 31 x 23.5 cms including title, plus narrow margins. Ref E7363
