Germany, Cologne, after Turner, 1864. "Cologne, from the River" engraved by A.Willmore after a painting by J.M.W.Turner, published in The Art Journal, 1864. Steel engraved antique print with recent hand colour. Slight age browning, otherwise good condition. Size 26.5 x 21 cms including title, plus margins. Ref H9087
Libya, Tripoli view, monochrome watercolour, about 1820. "Tripoli" anonymous monochrome watercolour, very finely executed, showing a small ship and a boat off the coast of Tripoli. Trimmed to image border and tabbed down on scrapbook paper. Very good condition. Size 24.5 x 13.5 cms, plus margins. Ref H9086
Lebanon, Convent of MarMoussa, near Beirut, lithograph, c1840. "Convent of Mar-Mousa, near Beirout" stone lithograph drawn from nature and on stone by Mrs Bracebridge, printed by Graf and Soret, about 1840. On India paper, laid down on normal paper (as published), very good condition and very scarce. Size 30 x 23.5 cms to edge of India paper, plus margins. Ref H9085

British India, Tallis/Rapkin map, 1853. "British India" classic decorative Tallis/Rapkin map published in Tallis's The Illustrated Atlas ..., about 1853. Steel engraved map with original outline hand colour. The colour is coded to indicate the several Presidencies. The decorative vignettes include Lahore, Cootub Minar at Delhi, Beloochees and an Indian procession with elephants. Centrefold as published, very slight soiling, otherwise good condition with good margins. Size 25 x 34 cms including decorative border, plus margins. Ref H9083

Copper engraved antique map, two vertical folds as published, good condition with full plate mark and good margins. Size 30.5 x 23.5 cms, plus margins. Ref H9082
India & south east Asia map, 1760. "The East Indies; distinguishing the Empires and Kingdoms on the Continent commonly call'd India: By the Sr.Robert, with Improvements" anonomous engraver, published in the Geographical Dictionary, 1760. Copper engraved antique map, very slight age browning and narrow lower margin, otherwise good condition with most of the plate mark. Size 29.5 x 20 cms, plus margins. Ref H9081
East Indies map, 1808. "Chart of the East India Islands" engraved by Cooper after Arrowsmith, published in Rees's Cyclopedia; or, Universal Dictionary ..., 1808. Copper engraved antique map, centrefold as published. Very slight age browning in the margins, otherwise good condition. Size 38.5 x 25 cms, plus margins. Ref H9080
India, Indian Mutiny map, c1859. "British India" lithographic map based on Rapkin's map of about 10 years earlier. Published in The History of the Indian Mutiny, about 1859. With pale original outline hand colour, dates of Battles etc. in four boxes around map. Centrefold as published, good condition. Size 25 x 34 cms plus margins. Ref H9079

Independant Tartary, Tallis/Rapkin map, 1853. "Independant Tartary" (now Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmensitan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and part of Afghanistan.) Classic decorative Tallis/Rapkin map published in Tallis's The Illustrated Atlas ..., about 1853. Steel engraved map with original outline hand colour, the more desirable version without a centrefold. The decorative vignettes include The Bride Chase on horseback, The Tent and Tartars on a Journey. Close trimmed to upper and lower margins, upper right corner cut and very slight soiling. Size 33 x 26 cms including decorative border, plus margins. Ref H9076
