France in the time of the Gauls, 1825. " Carte Generale des Gaules " by A.H.Brue, published in the Atlas Universel, about 1826 (map dated 1821.) Detailed copper engraved map with original hand colouring. Centrefold as published. Plate mark and wide margins. Very slight soiling, and 2 flower prints pasted onto the verso probably in Victorian times, these have not affected the paper. Size of engraved area 50 x 36 cms.
