"Edward 2nd resigns the Ensigns of Royalty" (about 1327) engraved by C.Grignion after a drawing by S.Wale, published in A New History of England by Mr. Mortimer, London, 1764. Dedicated to his Grace, Peregrine Bertie, Duke of Lancaster, with his crest below the image. Copper engraved print with recent hand colour. Clear plate mark and good margins. Size 17 x 25.5 cms to plate mark. Ref D5706
